Seiko Sportsmatic - Silver Dial (6619-7990, 1970)

Description: Seiko Sportsmatic reference 6619-7990 from approximately 1970, a workhorse automatic from Seiko's golden era of sports watches. The Sportsmatic line was built for people who actually wore their watches, not collectors who looked at them in boxes. Clean silver dial with applied dauphine hands in the Grand Seiko style, applied indices, date window at 3 o'clock. Stainless steel round case, approximately 37mm. Original Seiko stainless steel jubilee bracelet with solid end links. Acrylic crystal. Water resistant to 100m. The movement is exceptional & recently serviced, running strong & keeping excellent time.
