Seiko reference 7005-8062. 17-jewel Caliber 7005 automatic movement. Approximately 36-37mm stainless steel case at 10.5mm thick. Deep metallic navy blue dial with fine crosshair grid, applied polished baton hour markers & light blue outer minute track. Polished silver baton hands with luminous inserts & central sweep seconds. Date window at 3 o'clock with quickset. Daini Seikosha factory lightning bolt logo above 6 o'clock. Stainless steel bracelet.
Story of This Watch: The Caliber 7005 is the workhorse that made Seiko legendary. Magic Lever winding, 17 jewels of reliability, built to run for decades without fuss. This 1970s example is pure field watch DNA dressed as a casual day watch. The navy dial with crosshair grid was Seiko's vocabulary when they dominated.
