Navy blue dial with light-catching radial sunburst finish & applied silver-tone stick indexes featuring thin black accent lines. Matching baton hands with LumiBrite luminescent strips. Applied SEIKO nameplate below 12 with embossed shield "5" logo underneath. Bilingual day/date window at 3 o'clock. ~37mm stainless steel case at 10.5mm thin with softly squared-off tonneau-adjacent sides flowing into integrated lugs. Crown recessed at 4 o'clock. 19mm lug width. Original stainless steel bracelet. 21,600 vph, ~40 hour power reserve. 7009 quickset crown feature: pull to first click & rotate for date, push inward as a button to advance day wheel.
Story of This Watch: The 7009 is the direct predecessor to the 7S26 that defined the modern Seiko 5.
