Story of This Watch: The Edifice line is Casio's answer to the question of what a sport watch looks like when it takes itself seriously. The EFA-121 packs analog timekeeping, digital lap/elapsed timing & a temperature subdial into one cohesive package without the dial becoming unreadable - which is harder to execute than it sounds. The red & black colour language is deliberate: this is motorsport aesthetic applied to a wrist instrument, the same visual vocabulary that Casio would later develop into the Edifice x Scuderia Ferrari collaborations. The ana-digi format also means both display systems are working independently & simultaneously, which this example does correctly across both modes.
